2 Minutes - $52.00 Profit

Sat down to a 25nl game today. First hand, pocket rockets. I raised to $0.75, someone shoves all in with ~40$. I call with my $25 everyone else folds, and he flips his cards up and has 23o. The board rolls out and he winds up with nothing, I have my pair.

A few hands later while I was the big blind, I was dealt 79o. One person called the BB, everyone else folded. the flop was rainbow 672. I raised it 1$ and he shoves all in with about 25$. I called and his cards flip up he has 89o. Turn, 7, river 2. Full house. According to poker tracker, it was a 2 minute session. Profit, 52$, $/Hour $1,560.02. I'll take it. :-D

25nl is my buddy

A slower gain today, with a few swings dropping me 25$, but I hung in there and profited.

It was a 2 1/2 hour session, so it comes out to $7.30/hr. Not bad for a start. Not to mention I'm at work too so I'm making $14.40/hr on top of that! I can't wait to break $1k

Testing higher limits

I've read that if you want to try out the limit you'll be jumping to when your bankroll increases, buy into that game with 5% of what your bankroll allows and be ready to lose it. So I bought into 25nl with only $10. After a ridiculous 40 minutes I doubled up, doubled up again, doubled that, and I lost track from there. They play like complete morons there.

Going Green

The slogan of my bankroll should be going green because almost every session brings me further into the green. I had another great day at the tables. I usually only play 1 table at a time so I can really focus and tighten my game. Today I decided to bump it up a table. As I saw profit at both tables, and I had no problem focusing on both I added one more to the mix. Three tables was quite easy to play and I'm almost ready to step up to my next blinds.

This was achieved in only 2 1/2 hours and 3 tables. So, it equates down to about $16 an hour. I'm more than ok with that and I hope this lasts for years to come. :-D

Because you care

Been a while since I posted, however I have been playing. Just don't think anyone cares about my blog lol. Sticking to extremely tight bankroll management has worked miracles in my game. I was at just over 70$ last time I posted, and I'm currently up to $409.38 by playing 6 handed ring games alone.

Downswing

I have been pretty busy with life, and therefore not posting much. I also haven't been playing much. Mainly due to a day I played like complete trash. It brought me down to about $40.00.

I know I can be a winning player in the long run, I just don't focus like I should. I've managed to bring myself back up to $60. I'll be playing quite a bit tonight, and hopefully I'll pull something out of my ass.
